Initial Screening Blood Tests
Following the initial consultation, we will have agreed to a series of investigations that give us precise data regarding your physiological constitution. This will include standard tests to look at your blood count, diabetes risk, kidney, liver and thyroid function. We also carry out a specific hormone profile and a full lipid profile, including specific biomarkers that could suggest a high risk of cardiovascular disease. We can dementia risk screen at this stage after counselling and consent. Booking coming soon

DEXA Body Composition & Bone Density
A vital part of understanding our metabolic health is through a DEXA scan. This is carried out by one of our CQC registered partners. The test will inform the team about the amount of muscle and fat you carry. We can modify your health plan accordingly. We also test your bone health which informs us of your risk of fractures in the future. Booking coming soon

Second Consultation
90 MINUTES
Once these results have been collated our team can deliver a full report and management plan. This could involve the prescription of medication, advice on specific lifestyle modifications, glucose monitoring, targeted exercise and nutrition. At this point it is important to set firm goals and inform you of future health risks. You may want further/regular screening at this point and we will be transparent with the risks and benefits of doing this. Booking coming soon

VO2 Max Testing & Interpretation
bike or treadmill
The V02 Max Test can be performed on a bike or treadmill and measures the maximum amount of oxygen your body can use during intense exercise. It’s a marker of how your heart, lungs, and muscles work together to fuel your body with oxygen during extreme activity. V02 Max is a strong predictor of longevity and as such we recommend this test to help guide your exercise programme and provide a baseline which you can work. Booking coming soon

Our medication is delivered to your door by our pharmacy partners. We do not charge a specific fee for the prescription.

CT and MRI Imaging
As part of the service, we may recommend some form of scanning following your initial tests to better stratify risk or to guide treatment. These will be carried out by our scanning partners at a location that is convenient to you. As before we do not package these into the service as they are not part of everyone’s needs.
